BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The annual Women’s Expo made its return on Friday to a tremendous response from the residents of Raleigh County.
The two-day event officially got underway on Friday afternoon beginning at 1:00pm, at which time 155 of vendors representing businesses, organizations, and political candidates from throughout the area became available to members of the public.
The line of attendees awaiting entry for the event during the early afternoon hours was extensive, spilling out of the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center doors and into the parking area. Several different parking areas near the convention center were utilized – and provided courtesy of Dutch Miller Automotive – in order to accommodate the level of local interest in the event.
Vendors were situated at booths all throughout the venue, with upper and lower levels of the armory building having been utilized along with various rooms to successfully accommodate event vendors.
Those set up at the event provided an array of information and resources to guests in attendance, along with food samples, merchandise, prizes, and more.
“This is the largest Women’s Expo in our 26-year history,” said one representative of the event. “Thank you so much to our vendors and participants, as well as our sponsors!”
