BECKLEY, W.Va. (LOOTPRESS) – 74-year-old Henry Quade was sentenced today in Raleigh County Court for sexually abusing a minor.
According to court documents, in November of 2018, Quade, then 70, was determined to have sexually abused a child, then 10. It was determined that the abuse had been going on since the child was eight years old. Quade was charged with the sexual abuse of a parent, guardian or custodian.
In September of 2021, Quade took a plea deal where he pleaded guilty to felony first-degree sexual abuse.
Today, in front of Judge Dimlich, Quade was sentenced to five to 25 years in prison. Additionally, he must remain on the sex offender registry for life and undergo 25 years of post-release supervision- if ever released.
