GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Police are searching for the suspect(s) involved in destroying a statue at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
Some time through the weekend of June 25, 2021, an individual or individuals committed an act of destruction on a statue within the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens cemetery in Lewisburg, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The damage to this statue is estimated to be over 6,000.00 dollars.
The property’s caretakers are offering a 1,000.00 dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved in this crime.
On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, we were advised that a local business owner will also match the 1,000.00 dollar reward for the arrest and conviction of those responsible. This brings the total reward for information offered to 2,000.00 dollars.
