CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia and its partners have concluded an investigation involving now-former Kanawha County Commissioner W. Kent Carper. The investigation uncovered significant allegations of concern. It also found that Carper had significant health issues that could have had an impact on his actions relevant to the investigation. As a result, a decision has been made to end the investigation without taking further action, United States Attorney Will Thompson announced.
