MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Montgomery has announced the passing of Fire Chief Benny Filiaggi.
According to city officials, Benny has served as Montgomery’s Fire Chief for several years and was a hard-working member of the fire department and city.
Benny was described by the city as having an unmatched work ethic and passion for helping people.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our very own Benny Filiaggi,” the City of Montgomery said in a statement. “We ask for your continued support for FDM and the City of Montgomery, as we make it through this very difficult time. You will truly be missed Benny.”
Filiaggi was recently recognized for his contributions to Montgomery.
