MARTINSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested in the Berkeley County area after multiple victims were stabbed on Tuesday.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department reports that, at approximately 10:38am on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Deputies received reports of a stabbing incident, with two victims advised to have been at Berkeley Medical Center.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigation Division were activated and quickly determined 57-year-old William Redman to be a suspect.
Investigators determined that the stabbing had taken place at 39 Nannette Drive in Martinsburg at a residence for which a search warrant was quickly executed. Large amounts of blood are said to have been discovered at the scene of the crime along with other evidence.
William Redman was located by authorities near the local Economy Inn and was taken into custody in relation to the stabbing incident.
Two of the multiple victims were identified in the investigation – a 32-year-old white female who has since been released from medical care and a 37-year-old white male who remains in critical condition.
