HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Marshall University’s Information Technology team held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 1, marking the official launch of its status as an Adobe Creative Campus and the opening of a new Adobe Creative Campus addition to the Drinko Library Co-Lab.
By becoming an Adobe Creative Campus, Marshall joins a select group of institutions worldwide that incorporate Adobe’s industry-leading tools to elevate education across various disciplines.
University leaders, faculty, students, and special guests gathered to celebrate the achievement.
Through the Adobe Creative Campus program, Marshall faculty can now integrate Adobe Creative Cloud software into their curriculum, giving students access to tools such as Adobe Express.
This access aims to prepare students with creative and digital skills essential for thriving in today’s competitive job market.
“We’re excited to expand our resources with this new partnership,” said Marshall University Chief Information Officer, Jodie Penrod. “Becoming an Adobe Creative Campus provides our students and faculty with innovative tools and a distinct advantage in developing the technical and creative skills required in an ever-evolving digital world.”
The Co-Lab addition offers a collaborative and vibrant space for creativity and innovation, bringing students, faculty, and industry professionals together to work with Adobe’s latest technology and inspire students to explore their creative potential.
Marshall students will also have opportunities to take courses and earn Adobe-certified badges, highlighting skills in visual communication, social media, and generative AI—capabilities that can set them apart with future employers.
