POINT PLEASANT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A 50-year-old Point Pleasant man was sentenced in Mason County Circuit Court on Wednesday.
The Mason County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office reports that, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 50-year-old Mark Allen Flora of Point Pleasant was sentenced in a hearing presided over by the Honorable R. Craig Tatterson.
Records indicate that Flora was charged in 2014 with Sexual Assault in the Second Degree and Sexual Assault in the Third Degree. Flora was taken into custody earlier this month on a Nighttime Burglary charge.
For violation of the conditions outlined by his sex offender supervision, Flora was sentenced by Judge Tatterson to five years in the custody of the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Prosecuting Attorney for Mason County, Seth Gaskins extended his thanks to the Mason County Probation Department and to members of the West Virginia State Police for their efforts to bring the defendant to justice.
