Chapmanville – Sparked by a strong second half defensive performance, Greenbrier East pulled away from Chapmanville for a 56-42 win.
Sandy Banton led the defensive effort holding Tiger standout Haley Fleming scoreless in the final two quarters. The Spartans (4-0) allowed only 15 second half points in the win.
Kennedy Stewart led the offense with 20 points and Ava Workman added 15 points. Banton scored eight points and Jada Waller had six.
Daizi Farley led Chapmanville with 16 points which all came in the second quarter. Brooke Christian scored 15 points and Fleming had nine.

Kaitlyn Blake led the Maroon Knights with a game-high 27 points and Seneca Heller added 13. Addie Payton scored 11.
Abi Baker had 19 points to lead the Warriors, while Cadee Blackburn and Kyndall Lusk scored 11 points each.
