Charleston – Beckley earned a trip to Wheeling as the Flying Eagles shot a team score of 235 in Charleston Tuesday to qualify for the golf state tournament.
Zan Hill led the way for the Flying Eagles at Berry Hills, firing a 77, followed by Jonah Wilson who shot a 78. Tucker Lambert shot and 80 and Ian Thompson an 85 to round out the team scores. George Washington was the other Region 3 qualifier, shooting a 237.
Oak Hill’s Jack Hayes secured one of the region’s two individual qualifier spots with a score of 77.
