Gardner – Peyton Greer threw four touchdown passes for the second straight week, two to Dylan Blake, as PikeView picked up its third win of the season in a 36-26 win over Class A River View Friday.
Greer threw for 216 yards in the win, completing 12 of his 24 passing attempts while also rushing for 58 yards. Dylan Blake caught seven of his passes for 159 yards and two scores while Nathan Riffe caught four for 37 yards, hauling in the other two scoring strikes.
Riffe also contributed on defense where he came away with an interception.
Wyatt Blankenship had 14 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns for the Raiders, adding a third on an 11-yard catch. Mikey Picklesimer returned a kick for a touchdown for River View as well.
PikeView improves to 3-5 and will host Shady Spring on Tuesday in a makeup game.
