Summersville – Kaleb Clark capped off his breakout campaign with 190 yards rushing on 10 carries, scoring four times as Nicholas County topped PikeView 54-14 in the regular season finale Friday in Summersville.
The Grizzlies offense roared all night, taking a 47-0 lead at one point in the third quarter before easing off the gas.
As a team Nicholas rushed for 444 yards with Eden Addair and Tyler Timmerman adding scores on the ground for the hosts.
In his final football game PikeView receiver Dylan Blake caught five passes for 51 yards. PikeView QB Peyton Greer completed 10 of his 28 passing attempts for 112 yards but was intercepted three times in the loss.
Nicholas County concludes the regular season at 8-2 and will likely host a playoff game next week while PikeView concludes its season at 2-8.
