HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Summers County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting the second event of its 2022 Summers Police Explorers Program May 31, 2022.
A collaborative effort between the Summers County Sheriff’s Office and Community Connections, the 2022 Summers Police Explorers Program seeks to establish meaningful connections between local youth and local law enforcement officers.
The program also seeks not only to educate young members of the local community, but also to improve the youth’s perception of law enforcement.
Hinton’s Bellepoint Park, at 701 Miller Avenue, will serve as the location for the next event of the 2022 program, and it will run from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Subsequent dates of the 2022 Summers Police Explorers Program will also take place from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Bellepoint Park in Huntington, WV, and will be held on the following dates,

August 30, 2022
September 27, 2022
