CRAB ORCHARD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County man faces charges after he allegedly took a knife to his ex-girlfriend and cut her neck.
According to Raleigh County Deputies, Michael Necessary went to a home in Crab Orchard on May 6 and approached the female victim screaming, “I’m going to kill you.” Michael grabbed the woman, stuck a knife to her side, and threw her against the home. While he was threatening to kill the female, he placed a knife to her neck, and she attempted to getaway.
When deputies arrived at the home, they found the female covered in blood with lacerations to her neck, chin, and head.
As Michael was walking away, deputies ordered him to the ground; he turned around and charged towards a deputy. After a deputy attempted to deploy his taser, it didn’t connect to the suspect. Michael then struck the deputy on the head, and the deputy was able to take him to the ground and handcuff him.
Michael Necessary faces charges of domestic battery, malicious wounding, and battery on a police officer.
He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 25,000 dollar bond.
