Shady 17, Princeton 1
Princeton – Colten Tate allowed just one run on four hits Thursday as Shady Spring turned in a 17-1 win against Princeton at Hunnicutt Field.
Cam Manns led the charge in the box for the Shady Tigers, notching three hits and driving in three runs while Parker Brown added three RBI as well.
Jacob Meadows finished with three hist as well, including a triple.
Brody Combs collected two of Princeton’s hits.
Nicholas County 6, Independence 1
Summersville – Nicholas County scored four runs in the seventh inning Thursday, pulling away from Independence for a 6-1 win in Summersville.
Ira Mylott led the grizzlies with for hits out of the No. 5 spots while Cole Brown  went the distance, allowing just three hits in a complete-game effort.
