PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Princeton man is facing charges after he allegedly threw money out of the car window, tried jumping out of the car, tried to start a fire in the car, and began hitting his wife.
According to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, on April 4th, at around 8:30 pm, a call came in about a husband beating his wife. Â When deputies arrived at Pisgah Church of God in Princeton, the wife stated that her husband, Kevin Ramsey, began to hit her while she was driving.
A juvenile recorded numerous instances that took place in the vehicle. Â At times, Ramsey could be seen throwing money out of the window, attempting to jump out of the moving vehicle, trying to ignite a fire within the car, and eventually hitting the victim.
Deputies say they could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from Ramsey. Â They say his speech was slurred, and he appeared to be intoxicated.
Ramsey was charged with domestic battery. He is currently out on bond.
