BEAVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Wyoming County woman is facing additional charges after bringing drugs into Southern Regional Jail.
On Monday, April 17, 2023, WV State Police transported Rebecca Brown, 52, of Brenton, WV, to Southern Regional Jail. Â During her booking, she asked numerous times to go to the restroom. Â A Correctional Officer took Brown to the bathroom and instructed her to change into the jail uniform.
The officer located two baggies containing a crystal-like substance consistent with Methamphetamine, multiple empty baggies, and a glass pipe in her bra.
Brown was charged with bringing drugs into a jail facility. Her bond for the drugs was set at 10,000 dollars.
