RAVENSWOOD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two brothers were arrested earlier this month after police were dispatched to a trailer park where an individual had reportedly been stabbed.
According to the Ravenswood Police Department, on Friday, May 19, 2023, at approximately 12:22am, an assault was reported at Hutton’s Trailer Park prompting officer response.
Upon arrival at the location of the purported incident, PFC J.D. Garrett and Patrolman J.A. Ankrom spoke to a female who stated that her husband, Marvin Jimenez, had struck her in the upper right arm area with the buckle end of a belt.
A large amount of blood on the floor and throughout other areas was observed by responding officers, and upon further investigation it was discovered that Jimenez had gotten into a physical altercation with his brother Juan after striking the female.
Officers were able to locate Juan Jimenez and noticed a substantial amount of blood on his shorts, apparently resulting from a stab wound suffered by Marvin Jimenez during the altercation.
Marvin Jimenez was charged with Domestic Battery while Juan Jimenez was charged with Malicious Wounding, and both individuals were transported to South Central Regional Jail in lieu of bond. Marvin Jimenez was reportedly released from the hospital following a medical evaluation.
