FORT GAY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office announced the successful arrest of two drug suspects at a residence in the Fort Gay area.
Sheriff Rick Thompson provided details on the operation, carried out by the US Marshals Cuffed Task Force, which resulted in the apprehension of Jason Waller and Tina Copley.
The arrests were made in connection with drug warrants issued following an investigation conducted by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit.
Waller and Copley now face charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Pseudoephedrine Altered, and Conspiracy. These charges stem from the evidence gathered during the investigation, indicating their involvement in drug-related activities.
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized additional quantities of methamphetamine from the suspects’ residence.
The search also uncovered a SKS rifle and a shotgun. Sheriff Thompson emphasized that the Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit is in the process of compiling further charges against Waller and Copley.
