Greenbrier West 63, Midland Trail 14

Charmco – Class A No. 2-rated Greenbrier West raced out to a 35-0 halftime lead and roared past No. 16-rated Midland Trail, 63-14 Friday night.
Cole Vandall threw for 219 yards and three more touchdowns, while Jake Pate exploded for 232 yards on the ground and two scores.
Ethan Holliday, Tucker Lilly and Colton Dunbar were on receiving end of Vandall’s scoring tosses. Holliday also had a rushing touchdown along with Marcus Adkins and Trent Parker.
Isaac Agee returned an interception 82 yards for a score just before the end of the first half.
Greenbrier West (9-0) closes out the regular season next week at Moorefield. Trail (4-5) wraps up the season by hosting Pocahontas County.
