BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Parks and Recreation is bringing holiday cheer to the community with its Annual Cookies with Santa event, taking place on December 7 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lake Stephens Event Center. This festive, family-friendly gathering invites residents to enjoy holiday activities while supporting children in need through a small entry fee or toy donation.
For just $5 or a new toy donation, attendees can dive into a Christmas-themed experience featuring cookie decorating, pinecone crafts, a “12 Sharks of Christmas” scavenger hunt, and a Letters to Santa Creation Zone with a direct-to-Santa mailbox. The event will be filled with Christmas spirit, with appearances by both Santa and the Grinch. The entry fee covers all craft materials, cookies, and decorating supplies, making it an affordable way for families to get into the holiday spirit.
For those looking to capture the moment, photos with Santa will be available for $2, with pictures emailed directly to participants.
