BARBOUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – In an effort towards enhancing law enforcement capabilities, the Barbour County Sheriff’s Department (BCSD) has proudly unveiled the acquisition of three brand-new police patrol vehicles, made possible through the proactive efforts of the Barbour County Commission.
The move comes as a response to the pressing need to modernize the department’s aging fleet, which had been grappling with vehicles that had accumulated well over 120,000 miles each.
The BCSD says that the vehicles will play an important role in enabling swift responses to emergency calls and bolstering the department’s county-wide patrols.
