BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man is facing charges for allegedly harboring a fugitive wanted on multiple warrants.
According to a criminal complaint, between December 5 and December 7, 2024, officers attempted to locate Pamela Seidel, who had active felony and misdemeanor warrants for her arrest.
Investigators made multiple inquiries into her whereabouts, including speaking with 52-year-old Jamie Thompson, a man believed to be in a relationship with Seidel.
During interviews with officers on December 5 and December 6, Thompson denied knowing where Seidel was and claimed he had not seen her for weeks. He suggested she might have returned to Pennsylvania.
However, on December 14, 2024, an anonymous source contacted law enforcement with information contradicting Thompson’s statements.
The source revealed that Seidel and Thompson had been living together and hiding in a camper at the end of Sheppard Street in Beckley.
Officers patrolled the area and located the camper.
Additional sources confirmed that Thompson and Seidel had been seen together, leading investigators to believe Thompson knowingly concealed Seidel from law enforcement while being aware of her active warrants.
As a result, officers have requested charges against Thompson for Accessory After the Fact.
Thompson is currently at Southern Regional Jail on a $5,000 bond.
