BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Organizers of Beckley Pride have announced that the annual event will not be held in June 2025 as originally planned.
In a Facebook post, organizers explained that the decision stems from unforeseen personal circumstances affecting key members of the organization’s board.
Beckley Pride, a small, community-led group that has hosted the event for the past five years, emphasized that the cancellation was not made lightly.
The organization described the event as a meaningful celebration of love, identity, and resilience for the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Organizers expressed gratitude for the continued support from the community and said they hope to return in 2026.
