MARTINSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – As of today, all in-person services of the Berkeley County Clerk’s Office are now provided at the newly renovated County Administration Office Building, located at 400 W. Stephen St. in Martinsburg.
The move brings the Civil Service, Licensing, Recording, and Vital Statistics divisions to Suite 103, where they began operations at 8 AM.
“Anyone wishing to obtain information about the hiring process for county law enforcement jobs, marriage licensing, recording of deeds, obtaining a death certificate or who are in need of any other county administrative services, are now provided assistance at 400 West Stephen Street,” Berkeley County Clerk Anthony J. “Tony” Petrucci said.
This relocation completes another phase of the county’s courthouse expansion project, aimed at streamlining access to administrative and judicial services.
The divisions join other offices, including Voter Registration and Finance, that had previously moved to the same building.
The project involved renovating 42,000 square feet of the historic County Administration Building, as well as constructing a 600-square-foot addition, new parking, and ADA improvements.
