BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Bluefield residents are invited to kick off the holiday season tonight with the annual lighting of the Animated Christmas Tree in Bluefield City Park.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a special performance by students from Bluefield Primary School.
The tree lighting ceremony will follow at 6:00 p.m., accompanied by a visit from Santa Claus himself. Guests can enjoy complimentary hot cocoa provided by the Beautification Committee.
This Thanksgiving tradition also marks the start of Bluefield’s popular Holiday of Lights display.
The lights will be on nightly from November 28 through January 5, with viewing hours from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
