MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Crews battled a fire at an unoccupied home overnight Wednesday.
According to the Morgantown Fire Department (MFD), they responded overnight to a reported structure fire on Pennsylvania Avenue.
The fire occurred in an unoccupied building.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the first and second floors.
As they deployed handlines, flames became visible.
Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack to extinguish the fire and search the building.
No injuries were reported.
