RANDOLPH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Randolph County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident on Adolph Road early Wednesday morning.
According to Deputy Pingley, who was dispatched to the scene on November 27, the vehicle sustained disabling damage but the driver was not injured.
The driver admitted to speeding in an attempt to get to work quickly.
While traveling downhill, the driver attempted to brake but lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road.
The car reportedly launched off a rock, became airborne, struck a tree, and came to rest against rocks at the bottom of an embankment.
The vehicle was recovered from the embankment, and no injuries were reported.
