FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Commission is now accepting applications for a grant-funded program aimed at helping property owners offset the costs of removing dilapidated structures from their properties.
Eligible applicants can submit their forms during the first round of applications, open from January 11, 2025, through March 1, 2025.
Additional rounds of funding are expected later in the year.
Once applications are submitted, the County will inspect and evaluate each property to determine if the structure qualifies under the program’s criteria for grant funding.
However, submission of a consent form does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Interested property owners can download, complete, and submit the required consent form to Angela Gerald, Fayette County Zoning Officer, via email at angela.gerald@fayettecountywv.gov.
