FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Citizens in the Fayette County area who have experienced property damage as a result of Tuesday’s storms have been asked to complete a damage report survey through Survey123.
The Fayette County Commission, Fayette County Office of Emergency
Management and the West Virginia Emergency Management Division have encouraged reports from residents regarding any and all storm related damage, no matter the severity, and even if reimbursement will not be requested.
The purpose of the survey is to assist Fayette County in qualifying for disaster assistance funds.
Residents have been asked to scan the QR code below to access the Weather Damage Survey, which will assist emergency management with assessment of the severity of the community impact from the events.
Those with issues accessing the QR code may call 211 from 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday to complete the survey over the phone.
Damage reports may also be emailed to info@fayettecountywv.org.
It should be noted that the survey is not an application for financial assistance. Should financial assistance become available based on the gathered damage reports, residents will be notified via the contact information provided.
Those who receive funds via an insurance claim will not be eligible for reimbursement through the survey
process.
