FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department (FCSD) has welcomed a new deputy sheriff to their team.
According to Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley, they have added now-Deputy Maria Whittington to the FCSD team.
Deputy Whittington was sworn in by Chief Circuit Judge Paul M. Blake Jr. today, Friday, June 21, 2024.
Deputy Whittington will begin her training at the West Virginia State Police Academy on Monday, June 24, 2024.
