GLEN JEAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – New River Gorge National Park & Preserve is currently experiencing high water levels due to recent flooding in North Carolina.
While all park facilities and campgrounds remain open, some walk-in campsites near the river may be affected by flooding.
Access to the Bluestone National Scenic River is completely blocked, with roads leading through Bluestone State Park and the area near Lilly flooded.
Park officials warn that conditions could change and advise visitors to check the park’s website for the latest updates.
