Shady Spring – It was senior night but a junior had a night to remember.
On an evening meant to honor the five seniors that ushered in the most successful era of Shady Spring basketball, junior Ammar Maxwell poured in 35 points to help the Tigers earn a 77-74 win over Class AAAA Huntington in Shady Spring Friday.
Braden Chapman was the only other Tiger in double figures, scoring 19 points.
Mikey Johnson led the highlanders with 29 points while Jaylen Motley pitched in 26.
