Montcalm – River View opened the regular season with a 70-32 win over Montcalm Tuesday night on the road.
Chasity Kennedy and Baleigh Auville each had a double-double in the win. Kennedy scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds, while Auville scored 12 points and had 12 rebounds.
Kaylee Blankenship scored 10 points, handed out five assists and had four blocks. Kaci Hatfield led all scorers with 19 points, including three triples.
Taylor White and Peyton White led the Generals with eight points each. Hayley Kendrick scored seven points.

The Wildcats roared out to a 26-5 lead after a quarter, spoiling Westside head coach Jamie Lusk’s return to the bench with a 74-31 victory Tuesday in Clear Fork.
Addyson Amick led Logan with 18 points while Jenna Hatfield added 16.
Sarah Lilly led Westside with 13 points in the loss.
