LOW GAP, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The reportedly unlawful commandeering of a motor vehicle by a Danville man has resulted in charges following an accident.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, April 25, 2023, deputies with the department responded to the Low Gap area of Boone County regarding a reported vehicle crash.
An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of William Phelps of Boone County.
Phelps faces charges of joyriding, unlawful taking of a vehicle, and driving with no operators, according to reports.
