GLEN DANIEL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Liberty High School Baseball program on Friday was presented with a check from the Lootpress Foundation, the funds from which will go toward the purchase of new uniforms for the 2024 baseball season.
Presented by Daniel Hall on behalf of the Lootpress Foundation, the check was made out in the amount of $2,500 and will serve to assist in replacing team uniforms which have been in use for over half a decade.
“Our uniforms are over five years old and the opportunity to get new ones will really energize our team,” said returning All-State and two-time All-Conference infielder Landon Hall, who was on hand to accept the check.
Liberty High School Baseball Assistant Coach, Dallas Hodges noted the significance of local groups and organizations in ensuring that children throughout the area are provided the opportunity to participate in team sports.
“We are so thankful for groups like the Lootpress Foundation and for Liberty alumni like Daniel Hall who support our school,” said Hodges, who served as president of the local little league organization for over a decade prior to his involvement with high school sports. “Daniel once again stepped up when needed. When he was in the Legislature, he helped out our little league with over $15,000 in grants, and to do this, along with the Lootpress Foundation, is so appreciated.”
