FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The popular Long Point Trail in New River Gorge National Park has been vandalized by a significant amount of graffiti.
According to park officials, an individual(s) has spray-painted approximately 10 trees and several rocks along the trail.
Most of the vandalism occurred near the end of the trail.
Park officials say they received the report of the graffiti on December 21st, but are not sure if it happened the morning or evening prior.
Officials originally thought it may have been a possible suicide due to some of the language but no signs of that have been found.
