CLARKSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Rodney Johnson, 47, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has admitted to his involvement in a large-scale drug trafficking organization that supplied methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine to North Central West Virginia.
Court documents reveal that Johnson played a key role in transporting significant amounts of these illicit drugs from Philadelphia to Morgantown.
The organization used multiple properties in Monongalia County to store its drug supply.
Johnson pled guilty to seven federal charges and faces up to 20 years in prison for each count.
His sentencing will be determined by a federal district court judge, who will consider the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda Wesley is prosecuting the case.
