WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing charges after allegedly hitting a female because he thought she was sleeping with his brother.
According to White Sulphur Springs Police, an officer was dispatched to an apartment for a domestic call. When he arrived, the door was partly open, and he could hear a female crying. When he went inside, he observed Jacob Vanburen standing over a female victim who was back in a corner crying. Once Vanburen was detained, the victim told police that Vanburen had hit her a few times in the face.
When police asked the suspect what was going on, Vanburen said, “nothing, other than [I] think [she] is sleeping with my [brother] and that [I] had her phone, but never hit her or put [my] hands on her.”
Vanburen was charged with domestic battery.
