HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Huntington resident was charged with domestic battery following an incident that occurred on December 22, 2024, at a residence on Davis Street.
According to a criminal complaint filed in the Cabell County Magistrate Court, the suspect 32-year-old Dylan Cremeans entered the basement of the home, which he shared with the victim and her family, during the early morning hours.
A verbal altercation reportedly escalated into a physical confrontation.
The victim alleged that Cremeans grabbed her by the neck, lifted her off the ground, threw her to the floor, and kicked her in the back.
Officers responding to the scene documented visible injuries on the victim, including a two-inch-long scratch on her neck.
The victim also provided a written statement regarding the incident.
Law enforcement took Cremeans into custody without incident. He has been charged with domestic violence and is currently out on bond.
