BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Boone County man was arrested late Saturday, December 14, 2024, after an alleged disturbance involving his three children. According to the West Virginia State Police, Troopers M.S. Hall and R.K. Bowen responded to a call from Boone County 911 regarding an incident in Danville.
Authorities reported that Brian Foster, the accused, arrived at the residence and attempted to forcibly take three juvenile children he shares with the victim.
At approximately 11:13 p.m., the officers were patrolling Six Mile Road near the residence when they spotted a man, later identified as Foster, walking toward U.S. Route 119 wearing a white tank top. Foster was detained for further investigation.
Troopers Hall and Bowen, joined by Senior Trooper T.D. Fields proceeded to the residence and spoke with the victim and the children. Officers reviewed video evidence and recorded statements. The footage reportedly shows Foster shoving the victim with his forearm twice and threatening her with bodily harm three times. The video also depicts Foster forcibly grabbing the children and dragging them away from their mother against their will.
According to the victim’s statement, after taking the children into an adjoining bedroom, Foster allegedly attempted to remove them through a window in the residence.
Foster was arrested at approximately 11:39 p.m. and transported to Southwestern Regional Jail for processing.
