MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Kanawha County man has been charged with multiple felony offenses following a traffic stop in Fayette County.
According to Sheriff Shannon Morris, the incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. on October 7, 2024, when deputies were conducting routine traffic enforcement in the Montgomery area.
Deputies initiated a traffic stop for a minor violation and, upon approaching the vehicle, detected the smell of marijuana.
A search of the vehicle and its occupants revealed quantities of suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine in the pockets of a passenger.
John E. Fish, 43, of Paint Creek, was arrested and charged with three felony counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Narcotics.
