LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was arrested on Thursday after authorities made aware were of inappropriate material having been sent to student(s) at Logan Middle School.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, Resource officers with the department Sgt. Nick Booth and Cpl. Joe Lyall were informed of possible inappropriate messages having been sent to Logan Middle School students through the social media platform Snapchat.
An investigation was subsequently conducted, and it was determined that Aaron Grant, 25 years old of Foster, West Virginia, had indeed distributed obscene material to a minor juvenile.
On Thursday, December, 1, 2022, Aaron Grant was arrested and arraigned on charges of Distribution and Display to Minor Obscene Matter.
The investigation is currently ongoing, and it is unclear at this time if these charges pertain to one or multiple Logan Middle School students.
