HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is charged after he got mad that his girlfriend was walking the dog too long and slapped her.
According to the Huntington Police Department, a female victim said her boyfriend, Aaron Andrew Hay, of seven years, got mad at her because she had taken too long walking the dog behind the apartment complex. When she returned, Mr. Hay accused her of cheating with another man.
During the argument at the front door, a witness observed Mr. Hay throwing items around inside. The witness said Mr. Hay pushed the victim against the door and struck her in the face.
Hay then fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. As he ran, he told the victim, “I will kill you if I see you again.”
Hay is charged with domestic battery. He is currently in Western Regional Jail under a 5,000 dollar bond.
