WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Wyoming County law enforcement is investigating a larceny complaint after a woman reported stolen personal items at the Post Glen Apartments on Monday, December 23, 2024.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., a trooper responded to the complaint, where the victim alleged that Virgil Cline had stolen her makeup and perfume, valued at $110. The victim further stated that Cline used her phone to sell the stolen items.
Evidence Collected
The victim provided the responding officer with Facebook messages showing photos of the stolen items, which she claimed Cline had sent to potential buyers. The officer photographed the messages as evidence.
Attempt to Locate Suspect
Following the report, the trooper attempted to locate Cline at the Post Glen Apartments but was unsuccessful. He was later found and arrested.
