WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A man stole a phone charger and a pack of Mentos from the same store on separate occasions.
On July 7, 2024, surveillance footage shows the defendant, Brandon Michael Burdette, stealing a phone charger priced at $16.08, including taxes. He concealed the charger behind a tablet before placing it in his pocket and leaving the store without paying.
On July 14, 2024, he was again captured on surveillance, taking a pack of Mentos worth $1.79 and exiting the establishment without payment. Both incidents took place at the ParMar 89 gas station, located at 109 Elizabeth Pike.
This marks the defendant’s second offense, following a first offense for shoplifting on May 14, 2019, in Wood County Magistrate Court.
