GAULEY BRIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Wednesday, November 27, Steven Saunders was arrested after an incident on Scrabble Creek Road in Gauley Bridge, Fayette County. Authorities report that Saunders was sitting in the roadway in front of a residence when he allegedly threatened to shoot a man and burn down his house with both the victim and his girlfriend inside.
Saunders was reportedly in possession of a Heritage .22 caliber pistol at the time of the incident. Law enforcement quickly intervened and placed him under arrest. He now faces charges of aggravated assault and brandishing a deadly weapon.
