MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On December 26, 2023, Cody Estep officially turned in his resignation letter as one of McDowell County’s three county commissioners.
Estep’s resignation will be effective January 1, 2024. Estep was elected in 2018 and was the first Republican to serve McDowell County in decades.
Estep’s seat is eligible for election in 2024.
