MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is in jail after he allegedly sexually abused a child under the age of 12.
According to deputies, on January 24, 2022, the victim told her mother that Christopher Hinton, 31, would have her come into the bedroom while she was gone and perform sexual acts. Â When deputies went to locate Hinton, he had jumped out a window.
K-9 Buster was able to respond to track Hinto, and he was found 3.3 miles away on Littlesburg Road.
Hinton is charged with sexual abuse. Â He is in Southern Regional Jail.
