MONROE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) โ Monroe County Schools has expanded its transportation fleet with the addition of a new Blue Bird gas-powered school bus.
The bus, designated as Bus 226, was delivered to the districtโs transportation department on Thursday.
This marks the third gas-powered bus in the fleet and features a Ford 7.3L Godzilla engine.
It also includes several enhanced safety features, such as LED headlights, illuminated โSchool Busโ signage on both the front and back, an illuminated stop sign, a backup camera, and a front camera mounted on the grille.
School district officials expressed their appreciation to Wayne James and the Blue Bird bus company for providing the new vehicle.
